This family boarding house is set in a central and yet tranquil location in the Lower-Bavarian spa town of Bodenmais. Begin your action-packed day with a hearty breakfast, either in the breakfast lounge or on the hotel terrace in fine weather. Relax and leaf through fine books in the recreational room. Have a stroll through the Bohemian Forest, and discover a wide variety of flora and fauna. There are also many cross-country skiing trails nearby, and the ski-bus departs close to the Haus Iris. Located here close to the Czech border, you can make day-trips to Marienbad (Mariánské Lázně) in Western Bohemia, or the beautiful golden city of Prague.

The Haus Iris regularly organises special spa and health weeks, day-trips to Prague, Marienbad and the Bohemian Forest, or barbecues on the sun terrace.
